Commissioned as the set work by the Lionel Tertis Foundation for the 10th Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition, Erin Arts Centre, Isle of Man, March 2010. It received its first public performance by Milena Pajaro-Van de Stadt on Saturday March 27 2010 in the Isle of Man Bank Concert Hall, Erin Arts Centre, Isle of Man. The French premiere is scheduled by Adrien La Marca as part of the 2010 Uzerche Festival of Music, Abbatiale Saint-Pierre, August 22, 2010. The London premiere is scheduled by Milena Pajaro-Van de Stadt on January 30, 2011, in the Wigmore Hall.
